Movement Against Plastic Pollution – Ilocos Norte

Last June 2017, I founded an organization that aims to raise awareness and educate people regarding plastic pollution and zero waste lifestyle and named it Movement Against Plastic Pollution Ilocos Norte. We live by the tagline: Love, Protect, Educate.

We believe that we should protect what we love, and be an instrument in educating and inspiring people to care for the environment.

We’re a bunch of students and young professionals that have the heart and care for the environment. We conduct clean-ups, ocean talks, and small events to educate people. We’re a member of Plastic Pollution Coalition and a recognized organization by 5Gyres (because I’m one of the 5Gyres ambassadors).

Achievements & features so far:

Gawad Pasasalamat Awardee from Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Region 1.
