The first town of Ilocos Norte from the south is the Municipality of Badoc. You see, Ilocos Norte is more than just having numerous windmills. One of my top tourist spots is the La Virgen Milagrosa Chapel that was built last December 2013. It looks like an inverted boat from the outside, if you ask me. It is situated along the beach and built mostly using indigenous materials. The altar is made from a huge rock and seashells and the podium and chairs are made from wood.
The chapel was built by the provincial government under the supervision of Gov. Imee Marcos. La Virgen Milagrosa is one charming place. And did I mention the people there are so nice and the beach is so lovely. It is a definite must visit place.
Other things to do in Badoc:
-Have a picnic. You can rent a floating cottage there for only 500 pesos that is good for four hours.
-Swimming and boating. Go visit the Badoc Island. You can rent a boat that would take you there back and fort for only 800-1000 pesos good for 6-8 persons.
-Visit the Juan Luna Shrine. It is located at the town proper of Badoc.
Thank you for reading and I hope you’ll visit the place soon. Feel free to comment or ask anything about my post. God bless you! 💕

If from manila, there are a lot of bus companies going to Ilocos Norte like Maria De Leon, Florida, or Partas. Then you can ask the driver to drop you in Badoc. From there, you can hire a tricycle going to La Virgen. 😊

Are there comfort rooms in the cottages?

None but there are comfort rooms along the residential area. Not too far from the cottages.
